When you recognize one of the following symptoms:

– blood gushes from the wound

– blood continues to leak from the wound

– blood spills onto the floor

– clothing is soaked with blood

– the dressing is soaked with blood –

partial or complete amputation of a limb

– bleeding patient with impaired consciousness or unconscious

The kit includes:

– hemorrhage control manual

– C-A-T ™  Tourniquet,(TQ)  or a replacement approved and approved for use by the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (USA).

– QuikClot® Bleeding Control Dressing ™

– gas with hemostatic agent or replacement marker

– 1 pair of protective gloves

 – compression bandage.

 STOP THE BLEED® training is a hands-on exercise with artificial blood, realistic wounds, a full-size manikin and tourniquets. The training program was developed thanks to the work of Hartford Consensus.

Detailed description:

1. Identify life-threatening haemorrhages. Criteria for the use of tourniquet and indications for wound packing.

2. Rescue in case of haemorrhage with tourniquet (exercise)

3. Rescue procedure in case of cut wound hemorrhage – wound packing (exercises).

4. Rescue procedure in case of gunshot wound hemorrhage – wound packing (exercises).

Each participant receives a STOP THE BLEED® Certificate
