Stop Krwotokom CORE (Civilians) is a practical program designed to prepare you to act in the first minutes after an incident:
controlling massive bleeding, setting priorities in multi-casualty situations, and 24–72h civilian readiness.
The program consists of 3 modules delivered back-to-back (Module 1–3).

Module 1: STOP THE BLEED® Essentials (hands-on)

Goal: stop massive bleeding within 60–120 seconds.

60–90 min

  • recognizing life-threatening bleeding
  • direct pressure and pressure dressing
  • wound packing (with/without hemostatic gauze)
  • tourniquet: indications, application, common mistakes
  • mini-scenarios and pair practice
Proof of completion: course completion certificate.

Module 2: Mass-casualty incidents — civilian priorities (simplified SALT/START)

Goal: act with multiple casualties without losing control of the situation.

45–60 min

  • scene safety and basic incident organization
  • “Walk / Wave / Still” (rapid sorting)
  • priorities: bleeding → breathing → consciousness
  • task delegation (emergency call, AED, pressure, tourniquet)
  • communication with emergency services + short group scenarios

Module 3: 24–72h civilian readiness

Goal: an action plan and minimum resources for a crisis (blackout, evacuation, loss of communications).

45–60 min

  • family plan and emergency contacts
  • off-grid communication + “who–where–when” plan
  • blackout basics: light, heat, security
  • evacuation + “grab bag” essentials
  • minimum: water, meds, documents, first aid kit
Note: scope and timing can be adjusted to group size and training format.
